A nostalgic vision of small-town America unfolds beneath a glowing sunset in this richly detailed Thomas Kinkade composition, where rain-slicked streets, vintage automobiles, storefront lights, and strolling figures create a scene filled with warmth and life. Titled “Carmel, Sunset on Ocean Avenue,” the work depicts a lively Carmel street scene after rainfall, with reflections shimmering across the pavement beneath a luminous gold and rose-colored sky. Architectural details, period vehicles, pedestrians, landscaping, and softly illuminated shop windows give the composition a strong sense of depth and atmosphere. Presented as a print on canvas and bearing the Thomas Kinkade signature within the image at lower left, the work is housed in an ornate bronze and gilt-tone molded frame with decorative borders. The frame shows light scuffs and a few small nicks at the corners consistent with display and handling. Sight measures 35.5" x 23.25". Frame measures 42" x 30".
