Mr. Whiting died in 1835 but he was quite prolific in the early 1830's, with numerous examples of similuar clocks. This 30 hour wooden works shelf clock measures approx. 17.5" x 5" x 35". Missing key to open and lock. The mahogany veneer is in excellent shape. The very nice tablet "St. Brides Avenue, Loundon" is repainted on the old glass, unsigned; the dial glass is original.
