Beautiful antique Singer sewing machine featuring a black cast-metal machine head with decorative gold lettering and floral detailing, mounted in a traditional wooden sewing cabinet with an ornate cast-iron treadle base. This vintage Singer machine is believed to date from the early 1900s, possibly approximately 1900-1930, although the exact manufacturing year and model have not been confirmed. Singer sewing machines of this style were widely used in homes and workshops during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Features include: Original-style black Singer sewing machine with decorative gold decals and Singer branding. Heavy cast-iron treadle stand featuring raised SINGER lettering. Decorative foot pedal, flywheel and mechanical linkages. Wooden cabinet with folding top and hinged machine compartment. Six decorative wooden drawers, three on each side, with carved floral-style fronts. Drawers providing storage for sewing accessories and supplies. Additional motor, wiring and mechanical components visible within the cabinet. Condition: This machine is in unrestored antique condition, showing considerable age-related wear and patina. The black finish has scratches, paint loss and worn gold decals. Metal components exhibit rust, oxidation and discoloration. The wooden cabinet shows scratches, scuffs, staining, worn finish and general deterioration consistent with age and use. Drawers and interior compartments also show wear. An electric motor and wiring are visible; however, their installation, completeness and operating condition have not been verified. The sewing machine has not been tested. Mechanical operation, electrical safety and completeness of accessories are unknown. Restoration, servicing or repairs may be required. A wonderful collectible for antique sewing machine enthusiasts, vintage sewing rooms, historical displays, home dcor or restoration projects. SOLD AS IS, WHERE IS.
