Master Simpson Lithograph & Sistine Chapel Poster

Collection of two vintage decorative artworks featuring a framed lithograph of Master Simpson and a large Sistine Chapel poster. The Master Simpson lithograph was printed in Italy and originally marketed as a complete, pre-framed decorative wall accent between approximately 1970 and 1983. Presented in an ornate pierced filigree brass frame, the piece exemplifies the Hollywood Regency and Victorian Revival decorating styles popular during the 1970s and early 1980s. The elaborate metalwork and traditional portrait imagery make it an attractive collectible for enthusiasts of vintage Italian decorative art, ornate brass frames, and Hollywood Regency home décor. Also included is a Sistine Chapel poster measuring approximately 43" x 15", featuring artwork associated with the renowned Vatican landmark and its celebrated Renaissance frescoes. The reverse bears the handwritten name "Gladys R. Jones" and the date May 11, 1993. This inscription has not been verified as an artist's signature.
