Striking vintage floor lamp purchased in 1985 for $719, featuring an ornate dome-shaped shade constructed with natural Capiz shell panels and bold pink floral motifs. The shade is accented with brass-tone framework, clear pearlescent shell panels, teardrop details, and a decorative shell finial at the top. A tall brass-tone column and substantial round pedestal base complete the elegant Hollywood Regency-inspired design. Measures approximately 60" tall. Lamp has been tested and works. The brass-tone base shows age-related spotting, tarnish, surface wear, and scratches. Shade also shows age and wear, including an area of visible damage to one of the upper shell panels as photographed. An impressive statement lamp with excellent vintage character.
