H. A. Reginald Cropsey presents a diverse sketchbook containing charcoal and pencil studies dated between 1895 and 1900. The collection features highly detailed animal portraits including a large-scale charcoal goat head and farm animals from Coalville. Hand-drawn maps of four continents and architectural scenes like Newbury Church complete this turn-of-the-century academic record. Multiple signatures, including Reggie and R. C. Cropsey, appear throughout the pages. This antique sketchbook reflects its age through a distressed black cover. The interior features crisp paper with expected charcoal ghosting, while the binding remains remarkably intact.
