Bastidas 'Mirrored Self' and Landscape (Signed)

A pair of framed original works on paper. The first, a graphite triptych titled Mirrored Self, depicts three views of a female figure and is signed BASTIDAS in graphite at the lower right. A verso label reads Mirrored Self / GraphiteDrawing. The second is a surrealist landscape. The drawing is in a metal frame with hardware stamped CLARK. Overall good condition. The graphite drawing shows minor smudging and undulation. The landscape frame backing paper is partially torn on the verso. Jessica Bastidas is a Lehigh Valley–raised fine artist, illustrator, and educator whose work bridges representational portraiture and contemporary abstraction. A graduate of the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA), she earned degrees in Illustration, Humanistic Studies, and Art Education and has exhibited throughout Pennsylvania and Maryland as well as internationally. Bastidas was named ArtsQuest’s 2018 Bethlehem Emerging Artist of the Year and was selected to create the official 2019 Musikfest poster. Her work has also been exhibited at the Walters Art Museum in Baltimore, and her painting Regeneration is held in the collection of Lehigh University Art Galleries.
