Antique/vintage sterling silver match safe (vesta case) featuring an applied Native American profile on the front and engraved initials “JD” on the back. Hinged top with ribbed match striker along the bottom. Shows considerable age-related scratches and patina. The handwritten note inside appears to indicate provenance/ownership, but I would not use it as proof of maker.
