Manufactured by the prominent German clockmaker Kieninger & Obergfell. The bottom of the chamber houses a traditional four-ball torsion pendulum. In traditional mechanical models, this spinning pendulum directly regulates the timekeeping mechanism. However, on this electronic quartz model, the internal quartz battery pulse controls the hands. The spinning four-ball pendulum functions purely as a decorative, aesthetic tribute to classic 400-day. It features a bright brass finish, etched glass side panels with subtle floral detailing, and prominent Roman numerals on the clock face.
