It is a perfect replacement! Exceptionally smooth operation is delivered. To shift into forward and reverse, rotate the control lever downward; further rotated downward, the throttle opens. For Both Shift and Throttle: The remote control box is designed so that both shift and throttle can be actuated by operating a remote control lever. So it is convenient for you for sure. Shut-off Lanyard & Clip: The cord can secure the operation by being attached to the operator's clothing, arm, or leg. Should operators fall down or leave the helm, the cord will pull out the clip, stopping ignition. Fast-idle lever for quick warm-up, ergonomic grip for smooth, precise operation. Thumb operated trim/tilt switch, safety lanyard/emergency cut off. Adjustable Throttle Friction: By turning in or out the throttle friction screw of the remote control box, the stiffness of the control lever can be adjusted.
