• Design: Both feature a traditional sphere shape with a distinct "double-throat" dual-slit design joined by rounded base holes to amplify their sound. They retain heavy, natural dark oxidation, surface pitting, and a rustic patina typical of 19th or early 20th-century cast metal construction. • Dimensions: According to the ruler at the bottom of the photo, each individual bell measures approximately 2.5 inches (63 mm) in diameter. In historical sizing standards for harness hardware, a 2.5-inch crotal bell generally correlates to a large Size #11 or Size #12 bell.
