Made from lithographed tinplate, this control tower was designed to complement vintage O-gauge toy train layouts (frequently used alongside Marx or Hafner train setups). It features an eye-catching brick pattern exterior, simulated signal windows, a green roof, and a prominent speedometer graphic labeled "Miles Per Hour" stretching up to 90. The toy functioned as a manual rheostat station: • The center dial control lever could be turned to alter the voltage supply, effectively varying the speed of a connected electric train. • It includes designated operational switches for a stop command and a reverse button. • The loose small metal components pictured directly underneath the tower are internal or external operational linkage parts that have detached from the main housing.
