A signed, limited-edition original color aquatint etching created by the celebrated Belle Époque French printmaker Manuel Robbe, who used "Alphonse Lafitte" as a specialized pseudonym. While some older historical records conflict on whether Lafitte was a distinct student or peer, modern art historical consensus and major galleries recognize "Alphonse Lafitte" as the name Robbe adopted specifically for his maritime, harbor, and fishing boat scenes along the coast of Brittany during the early 20th century.
