Metal pin or brooch cast in the shape of a castle with two flanking towers. The towers are square with crenellated battlements and vertical window openings, and the center section has a peaked arched doorway with a scrolling pediment above it. The castle sits on a tiered base. The piece is copper or bronze in color with brass highlights on the raised areas and green verdigris in the recesses. The raised castle section is mounted over a round flat metal backplate. No maker mark, hallmark, or pin back is visible in the photo. Size and weight are not stated.
