Colt Python/Diamondback Bankers 2 Pcs Set Revolver

Description This lot is for two revolvers. Colt Python in .357 Magnum and a Colt Diamondback in .22 Long Rifle with a six round capacity and a 6" top rib vented barrel. This set was a special order from The Illinois Bank Of Findlay, with a deposit of 3,000 into a CD in order to receive this nickel set with Rosewood grips. The guns were prepaid 7.7 percent interest on the 6 year deposit. The Diamondback has custom shop smooth wood grips, nickel trigger guard, untextured trigger, cylinder, frame, checkered hammer and barrel. Rear adjustable and front fixed blade sights. The Python has custom shop smooth wood grips, nickel trigger guard, serrated trigger, checkered hammer, cylinder, frame and barrel. Rear adjustable and front fixed blade sight. They both come with Colt Archive Letters that state the Python was shipped July 15 1983 in a shipment of 55 pieces and the Diamondback was shipped August 19 1983 with 42 pieces. Both were shipped to Wooters Sport Shop Findlay Illinois for Bank Of Findlay. Comes in its wooden display case with factory serial number matching boxes, manuals and Colt Archive Letters. Must ship to a FFL holder. Condition: Like New with trigger tags. Clean rifled bores. The box has some interior wear and small spot of damage to the felt liner under front revolver hammer area.
