Born January 1, 1927, in the village of Stara Poltavtsi (now in the Volgograd region). Graduated from the Odessa Art School (1948) and the I. Yu. Repin Institute of Painting, Sculpture, and Architecture (1954). Studied with R. Frentz. Worked in painting, easel painting, and book graphics. Participated in national exhibitions (since 1957). Major works: "Amateurs" (1957); a portrait of the distinguished seamstress A. Shestakova (1960); a series of lithographs "Advanced People of the Titov Grain and Radgospa of the Tsilinograd Region and the V. Kuybishev Collective Farm of the Volgograd Region" (1964), and others. He lived and worked in Kiev. He died in 2010.
