A vintage cocktail ring featuring a large, oval-cut smoky quartz in a pale champagne hue. The central gemstone is secured by four prongs within an ornate scalloped basket setting. The shoulders of the ring are detailed with pierced scrollwork and filigree-style patterns, further accented by engraved sunburst motifs where they meet the band. The shank is a plain, flat-profile band. The interior of the band is stamped with the fineness mark 10K followed by a maker mark S (recheck). Total weight (measured on digital scale): 4.76 g Ring size (from accompanying documentation): 7.5. Condition: The ring is in good vintage condition. There is light surface scratching and minor wear to the gold band and setting consistent with age. The gemstone shows minor wear to the facet edges.
