First edition of The Thousand Hour Day, a novel by W.S. Kuniczak, published by Dial Press in 1966. This hardcover volume comes with its original dust jacket featuring a striking orange-red cover with the Polish White Eagle emblem in gold. The dust jacket shows wear with some tears and loss to the edges, particularly at the spine. A notable work of historical fiction centered on the Polish experience during World War II.
