?Tep 139 The oil painting titled "Jug and Fruit" is a vibrant still life that captures the simple beauty of everyday objects. The composition is centered around a lustrous copper jug, whose curving form and warm, reflective surface draw the eye. It is paired with an assortment of ripe fruits—apples and lemons—that are scattered around the jug. The fruits are rendered with rich, bold colors, from the deep reds of the apples to the bright, sunny yellow of the lemons, some of which are cut to reveal the juicy interior. The background is minimalistic, executed in broad strokes of muted browns and beiges that suggest a wooden table or countertop under a source of warm light. This neutral backdrop throws the jug and fruit into sharp relief, allowing their colors to pop and dominate the visual space. The painting is characterized by its impressionistic brushwork, with thick, visible strokes that lend a textural quality to the objects and surface, giving a sense of the tangible weight and presence of the fruit and jug. Light plays a critical role in this composition, with highlights and reflections meticulously painted to suggest the play of light across the objects, enhancing their three-dimensionality. There's a dynamic contrast between the solidity of the jug and the transient, perishable nature of the fruit, perhaps hinting at themes of permanence versus change, or the joys of sensory experience. The artist's signature is subtly included, a small yet integral part of the scene that signifies the creator's interaction with the interplay of objects, light, and color. *** ABOUT THIS PAINTING *** * TITLE: "Jug and fruit" * ARTISTS: Miacheslav Tepeta * SIZE: 36?62 cm/'14.17x24.40 inches' * MEDIUM: oil, canvas * HAND PAINTED: Original painting from our collection * CONDITION: we tried to convey the maximum information with the help of photos about this product About the artist: I, Pereta Vyacheslav Nikolaevich, was born on March 30, 1977 in the city of Dubno, Rivne region.
