A late 19th-century watercolor on paper depicting cattle at a watering hole in a wooded pasture. Hand-signed "Halles" in the lower right corner. Rendered with tonal washes and detailed linework in the Barbizon style. Presented in a period textured gilt composite frame under glass with original backing and hanging wire.
