Vintage 1950s papier-mâché snow goose (or swan) decoy made by Unimold. The removable head was a clever design feature of mid-century molded decoys. It allowed hunters to pack and stack the bodies efficiently into decoy bags without breaking the long necks, and it let them turn the head at different angles in the field to create a more realistic, varied flock appearance. - 20" x 11.5" H
