Graduated from the Crimean Art School (Simferopol, 1955). Teachers in the specialty: V. Apanovich, F. Zakharov. Painter. The main field is easel painting. Created mainly rural landscapes with variations of blue and white tones, used decorative elements in everyday and animalistic genres. Mountain motifs of Western Ukraine, Karelia (Russian Federation) are in creative development. Honored Artist of the RSFSR (1985). Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine (1971). Participant of the Great Patriotic War. Has military awards. Worked as an organizer and 1st chairman (1984-1988) of the Sumy organization of the Union of Artists of Ukraine. Engaged in creative work. He participated in regional, national, all-Union, and international exhibitions (since the mid-1950s). Solo exhibitions included those in Zaporizhzhia (1971), Lebedin (Sumy Oblast, 1975), and Sumy (1975, 1985, 1995). His works are held in the Sumy Art Museum, the Sumy Museum of Local History, and the Lebedin Art Museum. He lived and worked in Sumy and died on July 21, 2001.
