A group of 4 Typed letters signed ("Lowell Thomas"), 6 pp, 8vo, New York, March 1937 and June 1939, to Barnett Lester, on journalistic affairs, travel to the British Isles, etc, one with autograph postscript, some pages mounted to larger leaves, some soiling and wear. [WITH] Photograph signed ("Lowell Thomas") and inscribed "To Barnett Lester May we live forever!", 8 x 10 inches, gelatin silver print by Hal Phyfe, in commercial frame. Barnett Lester (1912-2007) served over 50 years in the State Department.
