Engraved frontispiece and 114 irregularly numbered plates (including 14 folding). [18], 748, [4] pp. Contemporary paneled calf rebacked to style, 6 raised bands, morocco spine label lettered in gilt. Provenance: James Wm. Bigglestone, Abergavenny Sept 3rd 1845 (ownership inscription to title). First edition. Condition: Repairs to frontispiece and title, preliminary gathering shorter at fore-edge than remainder of text, occasional minor foxing but largely clean internally.
