SURTEES, R.S. Jorrocks's Jaunts and Jollities. London: Downey & Co. Limited, 1901. 2 volumes. 4to (210 x 309 mm). 31 engraved plates in two states (color and b/w) by H. Alken, Phiz, and W. Heath, captioned tissue guards. 3/4 crimson morocco and marbled boards by Zaehnsdorf, gilt animal devices and text in spine panels, top edge gilt, marbled endpapers, original cloth spines bound at back. Limited edition, no. 19 of 90 large paper copies, with plates in two states. Condition: Some scuffs and scratches to spines, spines and corners a touch darkened, some cracking to joints.
