Hasegawa, [ca. 1931]. 5 volumes. Small 8vo. Woodblock-printed color illustrations throughout. Printed on crepe paper. Original string-bound illustrated wrappers, folding cloth chemise with faux bone clasps. A beautifully produced set of five Japanese tales rendered into English by Lafcadio Hearn, published in Tokyo by Hasegawa and distributed in America by Macrae-Smith Company of Philadelphia. Condition Chemise heavily worn with one panel detached, books fine.
