Daniel Meyer art print featuring a colorful abstract figure with Absolut Vodka imagery. Pencil-signed&nbsp;and dated 1992 in the lower right and hand-numbered 2/200 in the lower left. Some light spotting to the margins, as shown.<br> <br> Unframed. Minor foxing, spotting, and discoloration throughout, as shown. The reverse side is blank. This item is pre-owned and previously displayed, with wear, edge creases, small tears, and surface markings. Please reference all photos for full condition details.<br> <br> Measurements: Approx. 26" W x 39" L. Weight: 0.5 lbs.<br> <br> This item is originally from the collection of liquor icon Michel Roux. One of Mr. Roux’s signature spirits at Crillon was absinthe, the anise-flavored spirit known for its popularity among 19th-century artists like van Gogh and Toulouse-Lautrec. It was banned by the United States in 1912 amid concerns that wormwood, one if its ingredients, which contained thujone, caused hallucinations. In 2000 Mr. Roux introduced a legal absinthe, Absente, which used a sister botanical, Southern wormwood, with only trace amounts of thujone.
