This lot features two vintage advertising bank tins bursting with personality and a touch of nostalgia. The SOHIO Premex tin once held the promise of premium motor oil, while the Springfield Savings Institution tin likely served as a quaint yet practical reminder to save for a rainy day. Both tins sport charming wear and patina, telling stories of many hands that have held them over the decades. They offer a glimpse back to a time when oil brands and banks used such clever marketing to connect with customers. Small slots on top show their use as banks, adding a dash of function to their collectible charm.
