This Maitland-Smith pedestal bowl is crafted from brass and features two decorative female bust finials on opposing sides. The bowl rests on a tapered central column with a detailed, leaf-patterned circular base. The metal surface shows signs of wear, specifically a fracture or break located on one of the handle support arms. A partial maker's mark remains on the underside of the base.
