This lot features a matching pair of Chippendale-style armchairs constructed from dark finished wood. Each chair includes a highly detailed carved splat back and curved arms. The front legs feature ornate carving at the knees and terminate in ball-and-claw feet. The seats are upholstered in a textured, light yellow fabric. Both chairs exhibit minor finish wear consistent with age and use, including light scuffs on the wooden frames.
