Franklin Mint 1973 Commonwealth of the Bahamas Independence Day $10 proof coin. Struck in sterling silver and issued July 10, 1973 to commemorate Bahamian independence. Large 50mm coin containing 750 grains of sterling silver. Features Queen Elizabeth II on the obverse and the Santa Maria sailing ship on the reverse. Includes the original First Day of Issue cachet with 11-cent Independence stamp, Nassau July 10, 1973 postmark, Certificate of Authenticity and original Franklin Mint paperwork. Shipping available.
