One long wooden storage box from the Ferguson estate, built of solid pine with a hinged lid and two heavy nickel plated draw latches on the front. The case measures roughly two and a half feet long and about eight inches deep and stands on four small rubber feet fitted to the bottom corners. Construction is simple butt joints with visible nails and the wood carries a warm amber varnish. The interior is open with no dividers or tray, and two small screw heads sit in the lid interior where a hasp or handle was once fitted. The lid top shows heavy staining, paint spatter and water marks, two small green paint drips sit on the lid, and there are scuffs, scratches and small dents throughout. Both latches work and the lid closes square. It is honest shop storage for long tools, rods or gun cleaning gear. Condition is fair to good. Boxes like this were shop built to carry a specific set of tools and they hold up to rough handling far better than a plastic tote. Estimated Value: $20 to $40 based on comparable recent sales. Sold as-is. Photos are the most accurate description of this lot. Written descriptions are a guide only and may contain errors. Please review all photos before bidding.
