This framed souvenir features the iconic golden mask of King Tutankhamun, a treasure originally discovered in 1922.The poster commemorates the specific exhibition "Tutankhamun in London 1972" hosted by the British Museum, which saw unprecedented crowds. It is labeled as an "Evening Standard Souvenir," suggesting it was produced or distributed by the London newspaper at the time of the exhibition. The image shows the mask placed over the head and shoulders of the mummy, representing the pharaoh as the god Osiris.
