a rare vintage 1920s to 1950s starched gauze/muslin Halloween costume. This is a classic vintage starched buckram or muslin face mask, featuring a painted yellow base, thin arched eyebrows, rouged cheeks, and a prominent black mustache. These types of gauze masks were often styled as characters like "Fu Manchu" or generalized "gentlemen" figures commonly sold during mid-century Halloween holidays. A matching slate blue lightweight tunic/frock coat finished with contrasting off-white tape trim along the collar, lapels, and pocket flaps
