A 1946-D Jefferson Nickel graded MS66 by NGC is a beautiful, highly collectible "Gem Mint State" coin from the Denver Mint. While the 1946-D issue is common in lower circulated grades due to a high mintage of over 45 million, it becomes scarce and highly desirable when it reaches an MS66 grade or higher.
