Mixed lot of sterling silver pieces featuring a Towle weighted sterling candlestick holder and a separate Gorham sterling silver lid. The Towle candlestick has a classic tapered trumpet-form body with flared candle cup and round stepped base. Bottom is marked “Towle Sterling, Weighted & Reinforced.” Candlestick weighs approximately 119.8 grams total, including the weighted/reinforced components; this weight should not be considered 119.8 grams of sterling silver. Also included is a Gorham sterling silver domed lid with dark finial and notched edge, weighing approximately 23.4 grams total. Both pieces show substantial age-related patina, tarnish, surface wear, scratches, and oxidation as pictured. Offered as found and have not been polished.
