Woven Basket

Finely woven circular basket featuring an attractive traditional design. A handwritten provenance note on the back attributes the basket as Native American; however, its materials, construction, and decorative style appear more consistent with woven basketry from Uganda or Rwanda. This attribution has not been independently verified. Measures approximately 16.25" in diameter x 3" deep and is in very good preowned condition.
