slopes V. Zadorozhnya. ?AAA4657 The oil painting on cardboard titled "Summer Sunset Over Flowering Slopes" captures the serene yet vibrant atmosphere of a warm evening as the sun begins to set over rolling hills. The composition is rich in color, texture, and contrast, drawing the viewer into a landscape that radiates warmth and tranquility. The background features a sky ablaze with hues of deep orange, gold, and soft lavender, creating a stunning sunset that seems to engulf the entire scene in its glow. The sun, positioned slightly off-center, shines with a luminous white tone, its edges blending subtly into the surrounding sky. The artist uses expressive brushstrokes to create the effect of sunlight dispersing in soft waves, giving the impression of a sky in constant motion. Beneath this radiant sky, a series of mountains and hills unfold, each rendered in striking shades of deep blue, soft purple, and golden yellow. The layering of colors and the interplay of light and shadow give the terrain a remarkable sense of depth and dimension. The cool tones of the mountains contrast harmoniously with the warmth of the sky, adding to the painting’s balance and visual appeal. The textured brushstrokes used for the mountains enhance the ruggedness of their form, making them feel both distant and tangible. The middle ground showcases undulating slopes adorned with fields of bright green, golden yellow, and earthy red. These rolling landscapes are divided by natural curves, leading the viewer’s eye deeper into the painting, as if inviting them to follow the gentle contours of the land. The variation in color intensity suggests the presence of wildflowers, creating a mosaic of nature’s beauty across the terrain. One of the most striking elements of the painting is the lush, round tree in the foreground. Its full, deep green foliage stands out against the backdrop of warm yellows and reds, serving as a focal point that anchors the composition. The thick, textured brushstrokes used to depict the tree’s leaves give it a three-dimensional quality, making it feel as though it could be touched. Its sturdy trunk and vibrant foliage symbolize life and growth amidst the peaceful landscape. Closer to the foreground, the slopes are painted with bold, rich strokes of crimson red, soft lavender, and fiery orange, suggesting fields brimming with flowers. The heavy application of paint creates a tactile effect, enhancing the sense of movement and natural abundance. *** ABOUT THIS PAINTING *** * TITLE: "Summer sunset over flowering slopes" * ARTISTS: V.
