Assortment of 19th/20th Cent. Photos & Mixed Frame

This group includes various 19th-century photographic formats, featuring a sixth-plate ambrotype of a boy in a molded thermoplastic Union case and daguerreotypes, tintypes of men in embossed brass mats. A cabinet card depicts a child in a white dress and bears the printed text PATENT CHROMOTYPE, HENRY WEIPER, EAU CLAIRE, WIS. Several decorative modern miniature cast metal frames and three larger wooden and brass frames are also included. The miniature frames measure between2 and 3 inches in height. Items show age-related wear including surface scratches, silver mirroring, and emulsion loss on the ambrotype. Large frames exhibit heavy water staining to mats and chipped wooden finishes.
