A vintage MCM dome satchel from the Nature line crafted in cognac pebbled leather with gold-tone branded hardware. The front bears a rectangular gold-tone nameplate secured by four screws reading MCM, MÜNCHEN, and serial number 9662 M. The leather interior features a square heat-stamp reading ORIGINAL, MCM, HANDMADE, NATURE, LEDER * LEATHER * CUIR, DESIGN with a cursive signature for Michael Cromer, and MÜNCHEN GERMANY. It includes a monogrammed fabric zippered pocket, fourbase feet, a branded padlock, and the original Visetos patterned dust bag. This bag has not been authenticated by an expert but may have all the qualities of a genuine piece. Measures 8 x 11 x 5 inches. The exterior leather shows wear as expected with age, including significant scuffing and color loss at the four base corners and heavy surface abrasion and cracking on the top handles. Scratches and minor tarnishing are present on the gold-tone nameplate.
