This collection of approximately twenty-eight pieces of Longpark and Aller Vale pottery consists of glazed red clay earthenware decorated in traditional cream-colored slip with hand-painted floral motifs and regional sgraffito-style mottos. The chamberstick and candlesticks are marked on the base with an impressed stamp reading LONGPARK TORQUAY, while a small creamer features a hand-painted brown mark on the base reading Allervale England. The teapot base has an incised mark reading 1476 M and the candlesticks bear the incised numbers 113 N.1. The assortment includes a teapot, a tall three-handled tyg, various pitchers and jugs, two pedestal bowls, and fourteen saucers in two distinct patterns. Tallest vase is6 inches and largest plates are 5.5 inches. The collection is in good display condition with wear as expected for its age. A crack is visible across the blue dome of the teapot lid and one creamer has a crack running from the rim into the body. A small sugar bowl features a chip on the upper rim.
