Vintage Colonial Grandfather Clock, presented in a handsome traditional wooden case with a distinctive split-pediment bonnet top, central finial, and full-length glazed door. The richly appointed dial features a metallic chapter ring and applied numerals, complemented by ornate gilt spandrels and a functioning moon-phase aperture within the arched dial. The case opens to reveal the suspended pendulum and weights, above a stepped, tiered rectangular base. Fitted with a mechanical brass movement made in Germany and housed in a case marked Colonial Mfg. Co., Zeeland, Michigan. In working condition, with traditional Westminster chimes sounding at each quarter hour and the complete Westminster melody striking on the hour.
