Antique Late 19th Or Early 20th Century Victorian Style Or Empire-style Upholstered Rocking Chair, Often Referred To As A Lincoln Rocker Or Gooseneck Rocker. Very Good Confit With Just Minor Blemishes (see Photos For Details). Dark-stained Polished Hardwood (likely Walnut Or Mahogany) With A Curved, High-back Profile. Distinctive Carved Scroll Or "gooseneck/swan" Arm Panels On The Sides. Padded Cream Or Soft-toned Velvet-style Fabric Covering The Backrest, Seat, And Arm Pads. Per Ai: Graceful, Continuous Curve Of The High Back Rest Matches The "lincoln Rocker" Design Popularized During Abraham Lincoln’s Presidency In The 1860s.
