Kodak Medalist I medium-format rangefinder camera manufactured by Eastman Kodak Co., Rochester, New York, during the 1940s. Designed for 620 roll film, the camera features a heavy metal body, coupled rangefinder focusing and a collapsible helical lens mount. Fitted with a Kodak Ektar 100mm f/3.5 lens and Kodak Supermatic No. 2 shutter with speeds up to 1/400 second. A substantial American-made camera from Kodak's wartime-era professional and advanced amateur line. Good overall vintage condition with surface wear, scratches, scuffs and minor oxidation consistent with age. Untested.
