The undersigned declares that this work was painted by her father, Mr. ADRIANUS VAN EVERDINGEN, born in Utrecht on 22 June 1832 and died there on 4 September 1912. Signed and dated by W.C. van Everdingen, marked Utrecht, April 1913. This is an official authentication issued by the artist's son, Willem Cornelis van Everdingen, after his father's death. 2. Utrechtsche Kunsthandel 't Canapeelletje Tessaro. Opgericht 1884. Handel in schilderijen, aquarellen, prenten, etsen, lijsten in alle houtsoorten. Utrecht art dealership 't Canapeelletje Tessaro, founded in 1884. Dealer in paintings, watercolours, prints, etchings and frames in all types of wood. This long-established local Utrecht art firm indicates the work was once consigned or framed here. 3. EXPEDITIE, MEUBELTRANSPORT EN VEMBEDRIJF JOS BEEKWILDER (Jos Beekwilder shipping, furniture removal and packing company). This is a shipping/restoration label, recording that the work was transported or restored by this Dutch firm, adding provenance information to its history. 4. Other handwritten markings 150: Most likely an early price or stock number, commonly seen in old gallery or auction records. 54- x 36- No. 236: Canvas dimension notation (approx. 54.5 x 36.5 inches, equivalent to roughly 138 x 93 cm) plus inventory No. 236, the work's management reference number.
