Pocket Watch with Red Guilloch?? Enamel.

D:35mm

Tiffany & Co. antique hunting-case pocket watch in 18K gold with red guilloch?? enamel. A highly rare collectible antique pocket watch, originally worn as a personal accessory by noble ladies, combining timekeeping function with jewel attributes. The contrast of red and gold was one of the most popular colour schemes for jewellery among Edwardian-era noblewomen. Bright red enamel ranks among the costliest antique enamel varieties; red glaze is prone to cracking during firing, so only top Parisian ateliers dared to apply it over large areas on the dial and case rim. Its reflected lustre is soft and silky. The case is hand-chased with French Rococo scroll and iris motifs and set with old-cut small diamonds. Golden Arabic numerals paired with vintage stylised hands. The top features an integrally cast gold crown with wheat-sheaf knurling and suspension loop for necklace wear. French hand-engraved movement with jewel bearings, in fully working order. The interior bears the atelier signature and Tiffany & Co. marks. A rare collectible antique pocket watch.

ALL PROPERTY IS SOLD AS IS, WHERE IS, WITH NO RETURNS OR CANCELLATIONS.

Additional photographs and condition reports may be provided upon request as a courtesy only.
