with Childhood. <br><br>27*13*40cm<br><br>French Empire-style ormolu table clock with playful motifs. On the left stands a gilded sculpture of Cupid the cherub, lively and charming. The clock body on the right is designed as a lion's head spouting water. The base is decorated with classical Empire-style reliefs of garlands, torches and bouquets, supported by four ormolu animal paws. White enamel dial with Roman numerals, fitted with a gilded carrying loop on top. The overall form is stately yet whimsical. One-week power reserve, with musical striking function. Empire style draws inspiration from ancient Greek and Roman art. It features symmetrical forms and crisp lines, with decorative elements largely derived from mythology and allegory.
