Neoclassical subject: The Birth of Venus. Shell carving behind the goddess's head, flanked by sculpted attendant dolphins. Allegory: "The Goddess of Love and Beauty born from the sea". Fully decorated with scrolling acanthus foliage on both sides, completely carved front and back. Dual technique: relief and openwork carving. Central high-relief bust of Goddess Venus.
