Ria Frontier, the only human on a vibrant island filled with fantastical races, harbors a deep longing to connect with others of her kind. As she approaches the significant milestone of a thousand-year cycle, her wish unexpectedly comes true when a war party of humans descends from a flying ship, intent on plundering her home for the legendary "Pandora's Box." Their brutal tactics threaten not only her peaceful existence but also the safety of her friends and adoptive family. In a moment of desperation and fury at the cruelty of her own kind, Ria taps into the catastrophic power of the very treasure the humans seek, inadvertently unleashing a tragic force that will irrevocably alter her life and the world around her. With a blend of fantasy and emotional depth, this story explores themes of identity, belonging, and the struggle between different races, as Ria navigates the complexities of her existence and the consequences of her actions.
