Excellent selection of an antique Edwardian-era British solid sterling silver creamer and open sugar bowl set. This unified two-piece set features a classic low-slung oval silhouette accented with traditional ridged borders. Both pieces are anchored by an oval pedestal foot and feature elegant, sweeping high-looped handles. The lower body of both the creamer and the sugar bowl exhibit a pristine, complete set of official British hallmarks stamped externally. This includes the maker's mark "SH & Co" for the noted English silversmith Sidney Hall & Co., the Crown symbol for the Sheffield Assay Office, the Lion Passant guaranteeing a solid .925 sterling silver purity, and the date letter “P” establishing a manufacture year of 1907. Creamer measures 3" H x 6.5" L from handle edge to pouring lip. Sugar bowl measures 4" H x 7" L from handle to handle. Total weight: Creamer weighs 6.190 ozt. Sugar bowl weighs 8.855 ozt.
